The Little Art showcased some of the Best films from Lahore International Children’s Film Festival from 25th – 26th April 2015, at National Book Day in the activity area of Pak-China Center Islamabad. Besides that we had also put a stall of Cutputli a Puppet making Manual developed for the children to understand what Puppetry is all about and how they can make their own puppet with some basic materials.
Children and parents enjoyed the screening of films from Lahore International Children’s Film Festival made for, by and about children. Nearly 1000 children attended the film screenings. The idea was to educate the children by showing them some quality films from around the world, every film has some positive message in it, and how they may be able to contribute to the betterment of the society. Audience appreciated the efforts of The Little Art, in the field of arts and education. It was a very well thoughtful and well planned event by National Book Foundation.
We are very thankful for National Book Foundation for considering us for National Book Day 2015. Special Thanks to Ms. Afsan Sajid Deputy Director Publication for her great support. We hope that National Book Foundation will continue this festival of National Book Day with us and hopeful that National Book Foundation will expand such festivals to other cities of Pakistan as well.
