The Little Art presents “Once Upon a Film” – Film making workshops

Camp week 3: June 22nd – 27th

The Little Art works closely with young people using the medium of art and new media to promote education and positive social values through innovative learning opportunities. Our film development program “Once Upon a Film” includes an intensive filmmaking workshop that helps beginners to develop self-confidence and critical thinking skills whilst simultaneously fostering creative expression and collaboration in a fun environment.

We are collaborating with The Last Word bookshop, a creative hub of learning in Lahore to provide engaging combination of lectures hands-on exercises, small group activities, writing and discussion, participants will create a short film by immersing themselves in the complete process from the beginning to the end.

The participants will also have a chance to enter their completed film for inclusion in the Lahore International Children’s Film Festival 2015. Organized by The Little Art this festival is the largest film festival for youth and celebrates some of the best films made for, by and about children and young people from around the world.

The session runs from 9 am – noon for the duration of the week with Monday, Wednesday and Friday for 15 – 18 year olds, and Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for 11 – 14 year olds, and includes a follow up session one week later. The cost is 7000 Rs/-. To hold your slot, we require a 50% payment in advance. All supplies will be provided by The Little Art and The Last Word.
