Once Upon a Film – Film Making Workshop

The Little Art works closely with young people using the medium of art and new media to promote education and positive social values through innovative learning opportunities. Our film development program “Once Upon a Film” includes an intensive filmmaking workshop that helps beginners to develop self-confidence and critical thinking skills whilst simultaneously fostering creative expression and collaboration in a fun environment.

We are collaborating with Faiz Ghar, a project of the Faiz Foundation Trust to set up for the promotion of the progressive and humanistic ideas of Faiz Ahmed Faiz, where participants will create a short film by immersing themselves in the complete process from the beginning to the end.

The participants will also have a chance to enter their completed film for inclusion in the 8th Lahore International Children’s Film Festival 2016. Organized by The Little Art this festival is the largest film festival for youth and celebrates some of the best films made for, by and about children and young people from around the world.

The session runs from 4 pm – 6 pm for the duration of the week with Monday till Saturday for 13 – 18 year old and includes a follow up session one week later. It is a free workshop for young upcoming filmmakers to show their talent in 8th Lahore International Children’s Film Festival 2016. All supplies will be provided by The Little Art.
