LICFF 2019 Received 3137 Films from 114 Countries |
|
This year we received a large number of submissions 3137 films from 114 countries for 11th Lahore International Children’s Film Festival (LICFF). As we were watching films since past few months to make the first selection for the Festival program, and of course, enjoying the process. The selection process follows these steps; - Each film submitted to the Festival is seen by at least three selectors.
- Ratings by the selectors are compiled and the first selection is made, in consultation with the Festival Programmer and Director.
- The first selection is seen by the Festival Jury for awards.
- The selected films are announced and screened.

We are excited to share that LICFF is presenting 59 films from 28 countries this year, we will also add LICFF Young – National filmmaking competition films and LICFF Make films produced by children under 18 years old in filmmaking workshops that we conducted in schools. |

Results: LICFF Make – Filmmaking Competition for Young 2019 |
|
This year we received 65 films from 37 schools and around 350 children and youth (under 18) participated in the competition. The Competition aims to give students, young and adults an opportunity to showcase their talent of filmmaking in LICFF, as well as other International Children’s Film Festival around the world. |

More then 540,050 people has attended our 10 seasons of Film Festivals.
