9th ArtBeat Results and Schedule of Exhibitions

ArtBeat offers children an open space to freely express themselves, be more critical about life experiences and connect with family, friends and community.

Its vision is to promote visual culture, understanding of issues among children and youth from their own perspective and present children’s view as a point of discourse to the community. It celebrates children and youth as artists.

ArtBeat is Pakistan’s largest visual arts project for children and youth.

This year we invited children and young people to explore diversity in their own unique ways. We wanted to talk about diversity in all ways and forms, such as cultural, natural, colours, languages, gender, religion and ethnic.

205 schools from across the country and 39 community organizations participated this year, and our jury consisted of esteemed painters, artists and teachers such as; R.M. Naeem (Artist and Art Educator), Abdul Jabbar Gull (Sculptor and Painter) Shireen Bano Rizvi (Visual Artist and Art Educator) and Sajjad Gul (Visual Artist and Art Educator).
