EXHIBITIONS
Artbeat 2012 Islamabad Exhibition
The project was announced to schools and community organizations across Pakistan, The theme of this year’s ArtBeat was Environment, as the project meant to promote the understanding of visual culture among children and young people while making them aware of the world they live in.
Artbeat in its first edition ArtBeat received near 2,500 submissions from 49 schools and 14 community organizations working with special and profiled children.
The three days art exhibition of ArtBeat was festooned with the beautiful art pieces of young artists at Sir Syed Memorial Art Gallery, Islamabad from 22ndMay – 24th May 2012
The opening of the exhibition in Islamabad was attended by near 150 children and young people, teachers, school administrator and parents. The chief guest of the opening was “Ms. Kasur Jehan” who graced the event; and distributed prizes among young artist.
