ISLAMABAD EXHIBITION

This year’s theme was “Landscapes / Portraits”. The Little Art received nearly 4000 artworks from 190 schools and 260 individual artists across Pakistan and 25 organizations working with special and profiled children. The project focused on promoting a visual culture among children while making portraits of people they like, or the landscapes they can relate to and remember – and share their voices through art with the community.

ArtBeat Exhibition was opened on 23rd September 2014 at 5 pm in Hunerkada College of Visual and Performing Arts Islamabad. This exhibition had been running from 23rd to 25th of September. Mrs. Amena Shah (Director Hunar Kada Institute Islamabad) was the chief guest of the ceremony. Other guests of honors were Ms. Valeri Khan, Mr. Sajjad Akram (Nukta Studio) and Mr. Irfan (Teacher, NCA). Selected young Artists were awarded special certifies and prizes.

This exhibition was opened from 14th to 17th October 2014 at Alhamra Art Gallery, Lahore. The chief guest of the exhibition is Prof. Dr. Shahida Manzoor (Principal College of Art & Design, PU). Other invited guests for the exhibitions include Ms. Risham Hussain Syed, Mr. RM Naeem, Ms. Sadaf Naeem, Qazi Zubair Ajmal Khan (Deputy Director Fine Arts curator Alhamra) and Mr.Arif Khan.
