As a part of ArtBeat – National Child Art Competition and Exhibition, Sponsored workshops were held in three major cities Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad of Pakistan. Around 30 young Artists from each region (Red, Green, Blue) were selected from the competition to attend these workshops.

STUDIO RM – LAHORE

RM Naeem and Sadaf Naeem from Studio RM led the extensive art education workshop for the selected students in Lahore Region. It was two weeks studio workshop program for the child artists to learn and enhance their exposure and skills with the professional artist at their workspaces. This workshop was started from 13th of June and ended on the 23rd June 2016.

NUKTA STUDIO – ISLAMABAD

Sajjad Akram from Nukta Studio led the extensive art education workshop for the selected students in Islamabad. It was two weeks studio workshop program for the child artists to learn and enhance their exposure and skills with the professional artist at their workspaces. This workshop was started from 13th of June and ended on the 23rd June 2016.

I have worked here for 2 Weeks and made the portraits of Quiad-e-Azam with different techniques. I used to work in school with color pencils only, but here in studio I have worked with new art materials. First time in my life i worked on basics of sculpture

It was very difficult for me to make a portrait, but after the 2 weeks workshop I worked continuously with trainer to improve my skill. It was a wonderful journey for me to attend this 2 week workshop. We talked about our national heroes and chosen our favorite one’s. Next day we made their portraits. I learned how to work in abstract style and how to use black & white shading. I personally enjoyed the collage work in this workshop.

Abdul Jabbar Gull from AJG Studio led the extensive art education workshop for the selected students in Karachi Region. It was one week’s studio workshop program for the child artists to learn and enhance their exposure and skills with the professional artist at their workspaces. This workshop was started from 18th of July and ended on the 22nd July 2016.
