Skipping going through textbooks in school to come to watch short films? It does sound like the future of education because after the successful festival in Lahore, the children in Karachi, too, stormed in to Cinepax, Ocean Mall, to experience learning lessons differently.

A large number of audiences showed up to watch internationally acclaimed short films at LICFF19 from 28th October to 2nd November, 2019! The festival in collaboration with Cinepax and Teachers’ Resource Centre not only gave a chance to the children to explore cultures, languages, and stories from around the world, but also emphasized how important it is to bring innovations to education.

Once again, “Zog” the dragon came out strong among children, “Kitwana” shared a valuable lesson on human trafficking, “My Dear Ball” taught humbleness, “The Box” showed love between a man and a mouse and “I want to live in Zoo” cleverly portrayed all the different animals that one would find in a zoo, among a few.

The experience was nothing short of extraordinary as every story fulfilled its part in teleporting children to an entirely different place, creating new ideas in mind that they will surely put into work as they grow up.

Up next! Faisalabad, Bhakkar and Gujranwala!
