The Little Art invites you to participate in the 4th LICFF Young Filmmaking Competition. Through this competition, we aim to give students, young and adults an opportunity to showcase their talent in Lahore International Children’s Film Festival and earn recognition while representing their schools.

Under 18 youth can make a short film (under 3 minutes) using a camera or high quality cell phone and send it to the competition. The selected films will be showcased in the Heritage Festival, in the 9th Lahore International Children’s Film Festival 2017 and other city festivals

THEME: MY CITY/ MY STORY

My City: Show us your city where you live, your neighborhood, city landscape, perhaps some of the important heritage sites and tell us the stories that you know about the roads, buildings and everything your city offers

My Story: Share any of your thoughts and stories, anything that you remember from your childhood, talk to your parents or grand parents and share their stories

Under 3 mins (made by youth under 18)

Films can be submitted through email at irfan@thelittleart.org.
Before submissions kindly ensure that the title of your film, synopsis, contact details of the participant are mentioned along with it. The entries with incomplete information will result in the failure of selection.

AWARDS

The first three best films will receive Rs. 5,000 cash prize each. Selected films will be screened in the Festivals and young filmmakers will be invited to attend the opening event of the Festival to receive shields and prizes.

Lahore International Children’s Film Festival, a project of The Little Art, has been bringing some of the world’s best films, made for, by and about children and youth to Pakistan since 2007.
