Celebrating Experiences - TLA in 2015

2015 was a year of great challenges for us at The Little art. We saw a gradual expansion of our programs but also faced a challenge to respond to that growth. Working with more children and reaching out to larger audiences is great, if it allows us to maintain an inspired connection to our audience, children and youth.

Every year there is a new hope, a new lesson and a new beginning. Every year, we have new films for children, new art works that we curate and exhibit, new audiences and new stories of inspiration. We have new lessons to learn every year as well.

From "The Story of a Story" by Serbian poet Vasko Popa:
Once upon a time there was a story -
Its end came
Before its beginning
And its beginning came
After its end

While creating the most exciting arts based opportunities and Festival for children and youth, we believe that we are working towards changing the culture and the narrative of arts in Pakistan. Children will grow up to become active citizens of Pakistan, and few of them might also become artists. Dreams that we have of a peaceful creative society might also become the dream of our children.

Knowledge and expression are essential parts of education. This is also where our impact lies, to celebrate experiences that changes children to become confident and expressive, those who can dream big and gain courage to achieve in their future lives.

While a short look back in the video that how we did in 2014/2015, lets' hope for a peaceful, creative 2016!
