The Little Art is very excited to be part of founding member of UNESCO MGIEP supported network “Youth for Education, Sustainability and Peace” or YESPeace in Pakistan.

YESPeace Pakistan core group was formed in December 2016 to set up the YESPeace Pakistan. The core group is consisted of three organisations – The Little Art, CYAAD, Pakistan Youth Alliance; and is supported by UNESCO Islamabad office.

Lahore International Children’s Film Festival sends a delegate of selected young people to be part of international jury at Giffoni Film Festival in Italy to represent Pakistan.

Omar Ijaz Khan, Senior Manager Programs from The Little Art is managing the delegate.

The Giffoni International Film Festival is the largest children’s film festival in Europe, and possibly the world. It takes place in the little Italian town of Giffoni Valle Piana in Campania, Southern Italy. Over 2,000 children attend the festival from 39 countries around the world. The Festival runs from 12th July to 22 July, 2017.

From Pakistan to Korea – Speaking at UNESCO Panel and attending Global Citizenship Workshop​

Our team member Umair Mushtaq was selected by UNESCO to attend 3rd Youth Leadership Workshop, happened in Republic of Korea, from 28 May to 3 June 2017. He was selected as young leader from Pakistan amongst other 53 young leaders from 42 countries for the Global Citizenship Education workshop.
