Last month (22 – 27 June) we at The Little Art had a memorable experience conducting a week-long Film making workshop in collaboration with The Last Word. Focusing on the aesthetics of film making the participants were first facilitated in developing an appreciation for the film through its different disciplines from acting to music and from camera to production design to name a few.
Through engaging activities, participants were given a chance to explore how they can use these elements in telling their own stories. Lastly, through an open brainstorm session, an idea was developed for a short film in a specific genre (Mystery this time!) and the same film was shot on the last day engaging all participants in the film making process.
