The Karachi International Children’s Film Festival is a project of The Little Art. It’s an annual event to showcase the best of local and international films made by, for or about children and young people. Aiming at education as well as entertainment, the film festival is dedicated to promoting the culture of film watching, media literacy and alternative learning among children and young people. Each year, the festival brings some of the best international films to Pakistan to promote, peace, creativity, world cultures and the arts.
The festival defines “children and young people” as its primary beneficiaries, irrespective of their gender, social status, class, and education or income level. The festival has an inclusive approach to involve marginalized and less privileged children as its audience.
The Little Art TLA and Teacher’s Resource Center (TRC) brings Karachi International Children’s Film Festival in October 2015. The Little Art is a registered non-profit art education organization, which uses the medium of art to promote positive social values through innovative learning opportunities among children and young people, especially marginalized and from low-income backgrounds. “Teacher’s Resource Center TRC is a non-profit organization born from seed; it was the beginning of a concept which has grown and matured, and evolved over the years, to become a provider of imagination and inspiration to the public and private education sector.
2015 is the 5th season of the Festival and will take place in Karachi, Pakistan, October 5th-10th, 2015.
Timings
Morning Shows – 9 am to 1 pm
Evening Shows – 6 pm to 7 pm

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Karachi International Children’s Film Festival. Volunteers register to assist or undertake activities at the KICFF of their own free will and without remuneration.
CRITERIA FOR APPLICANTS
Volunteers are selected keeping in view the applicants’ interests & commitments and the volunteering opportunities we offer.
Volunteers are awarded an appreciation certificate in recognition of their services.
