After an exhilarating ride of the 7th LICFF events, we reflected back to the amazing 9 days of the festival events. This year we were able to reach an audience of over 18,000 in Karachi and 26,000 children and youth in Lahore to experience some of the best films made for and by children and young people from around the world.
As part of the international festival, a jury selection was made for this year’s winning entries from both international as well as local film submissions. The winning entries were also the ones that received the most positive feedback by young audiences throughout the festival.

Once Upon a Film – 2nd Inter School National Film Making Competition
In Fall 2015, The festival announced it’s annual short film making competition. We received a total of over 28 film submissions by schools from all over Pakistan. The jury and festival team selected the winner of the year based on originality, idea and aesthetic execution of the concept. The entry which was selected as a winner was a touching short story about friendships and the strength of bonds in our relationships.
