We will be taking you an entertaining ride from your cinema seats to all over the world, experiencing stories for, by and about children and youth across the globe.
We are proud to be announcing the festival season this year which will be featuring the best in local and international shorts, feature films, animations, documentaries and, amazingly, child-produced films. A complete program of nearly 82 Films from 28 Countries.
Lahore International Children’s Film Festival has been promoting cinema for children in Pakistan since 2008, with over 30 screening events each year across Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad. With the support of CKU and Embassy of Denmark, this season LICFF has been able to not only reach children and youth in cities but also in remote areas of Jamshoro, Bhakkar and Tando Jam giving them opportunities to experience the best of children’s cinema.
We would like to thank all the filmmakers for sharing their stories for children in Pakistan, CKU for their great support in helping us reach out to children in smaller communities and all our partners and friends, together with whom we aim continue to develop a culture for celebrating education through the arts.
LICFF aims to continue to inspire children through film and brings the community together to watch, learn and discuss cinema. We have an immense love for the craft of film making, storytelling, children and youth and inspiring them to become independent creative thinkers, dreamers and doers.

LAHORE INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S FILM FESTIVAL
The 8th LICFF has received a total of over 1070 films from 91 countries. This year we have partnered with Cinepax Cinemas once more to presents stimulating program of nearly 82 films from 28 countries showcasing best of international cinema by, for or about children and young people.

LAHORE INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S FILM FESTIVAL – KARACHI CHAPTER
The 6th season of KICFF 2016 is a collaboration of The Little Art with Teachers Resource Center and Cinepax reaching to an audience of over 28,000 children and young people.
The program will be showcasing 45 films from 20 counties all for, by and about children.

OUTREACH FESTIVALS
The Festival since it’s inception has aimed to reach children and youth in rural and marginalized areas to expose them to a global cinema and educational media. We have expanded our outreach through strategic partnerships to rural areas of Interior Sindh and South Punjab. Our festival team will be taking exciting festival programs to the region of Bhakkar, Tando Jam and Jamshoro this year aiming to reach an audience of over 25,000 children and young people.
INTERNATIONAL CHILDReN’S FILM FESTIVALS – BHAKKAR (SOUTH PUNJAB)
The Lahore International Children’s Film Festival in support of the CKU and Danish Embassy will be traveling to Bhakkar in South of Punjab this year taking special programs for, by and about children to present to the young audience in the region.

Lahore International Children’s Film Festival has collaborated with Sindh University Jamshoro to organize the 2ndedition of it’s traveling film festival to Jamshoro, Interior Sindh inviting children and young audience from the region to attend the 3-day festival events.

Lahore International Children’s Film Festival has collaborated with RETO Pakistan to organize the traveling film festival to Interior Sindh, Tando Jam region presenting a 3-day event for the children and youth in the Tando Jam region and neighboring districts.
