Dear Teachers, School Administrators, Parents, Children & Youth

ArtBeat – National Child Art Competition and Exhibitions introduces its seventh edition. The project was initiated in 2012 with a vision to promote visual culture, understanding of issues among children and youth from their own perspective, celebrate children as artists and present children’s view as a point of discourse for adults and community.

This year’s ArtBeat theme is “My Likes, My Dream, My City My Village”. My Likes, gives you opportunity to paint whatever that makes you happy; My Dream, gives you freedom to paint your dream about future. My City My village, offers you to pictorially represent people of your area and their culture.

Since 2012, ArtBeat has established itself as one of the most important arts competition for children and youth in Pakistan including participation from over 1062 schools, 116 community organizations and distribution of awards worth of nearly 1.8 million PKR with 15 exhibitions in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad. We hope that children and youth from your school will also be able to benefit in the upcoming ArtBeat competition as well.
